I really wanted to participate in this months acrylic challenge, I had
picked out the canvas and printed references. I was going to paint a
John Bauer inspired troll in a Swedish forest using an
impressionistic style. But time passed and the reveal date came, so I
just threw this monster together last minute. She is a sweetheart, but has the ability to do some real damage if she has to. And she is probably related to the moomins, I was listening to them when I painted her. |

This is my monster

And then in the Different strokes challenge in July 2024, we were asked to paint castles, so I painted a castle for my monster.
It is a 15x15 cm acrylic on wood. I also posted it on
