CatVember 2024

Comment Finished date 2024
After Inktober 2024 and DarkArtober 2024 was completed, I needed a new challenge. Then I found CatVember, since I have been a crazy catlady since 1998, it fits me perfectly and I will do some of these.

2. Pumpkin cat

4. Masquerade cat

7. Superhero cat

This is Eliza, my first ragdoll. She had a great personality and could jump insanely high and escape any enclosure. I have painted her several times before (see the gallery).

8. Flower cat

Sandy was Eliza's sister, she was a lot less outgoing and very cuddly with her family, she was so sweet and we miss her so. Sandy also had intensly blue eyes, and she was really looking at you with them. I have painted Sandy several times, for example this recent painting.

12. Jungle cat

Bacchus fits very well in the jungle, he likes to hide. He is a very handsome cat and very attached to me. I have painted him a few times too, like this one.

13. Rainy cat

My first cat was a black housecat with yellow eyes, I have painted Simson before too.

15. Cafe cat

Ronja is a really sweet and cuddly girl, I would imagine she would be really comfortable curled up on some warm waffles. This is also posted for Inktober52 for the waffle theme.

19. Steampunk cat

Peleus (Pelle) was a very goofy cat, I tried to draw him as a steampunker but it didn't really look like him. So I tried again... (see next)

20. Explorer cat

Pelle was an indoor cat, but he had access to a fenced in patio. Every time it rained he went exploring, and he fetched earthworms and placed them in our bed. He was very funny. I have painted Pelle before, and I also made hunting trophies for him.

21. Underwater cat

So normal cats don't like water all that much, but this is not a normal cat - it came from my head...

25. Knight cat

I think cats would make great knights, they are very used to handling sharp objects, roaming and fighting

30. Dragon cat

This is Dobby! His family plays Dungeons & Dragons, so Dobby probably turns into a fire dragon every now and then. When he is not a dragon, Dobby is a very active Devon Rex and very loved by his family.
