1. Greenery - this is a A4 watercolour to start the month; wreath for Doodlewash, greenery for StillArtmas and tied-in-a-bow for 12DaysOfCreativeCheer.

3. Peppermint - have you seen a peppermint zebra before? This is a A5 ink and copic marker drawing that I did for "Peppermint" for StillArtmas and "Candy Maximalism" for 12DaysOfCreativeCheer.

5. House - using the TTC colours for a gingerbread house. The colours is from The Tuesday Collective and the house fits with StillArtmas. It is a digital drawing using Procreate

7. Grinch face - is an ink drawing that I did for the Inktober52 GATOR challenge, but it also inspired me to add a quote from Sarcastic Lettering Challenge, it is the size of a post-it

9. A-moose-ing - all tangled up, but hopefully still good This is a A5 ink and copic marker drawing that I did for "Have an a-moo-sing Christmas" from the Spirimalchallenge hosted by Spirimal

13. Bears - a polar bear celebrating Lucia. This prompt is from The Tuesday Collective. It is an A5 ink and copic marker drawing

13. Sheep-tacular - This is a A4 ink and water colour painting that I did for "Have a sheep-tacular Christmas" from the Spirimalchallenge hosted by Spirimal

21. Narcissus - just a flower acting a bit self obsessed. This prompt is from The Tuesday Collective. It is an A5 ink and copic marker drawing

23. Gingerbread house - from Hogsmeade... For Doodlewash December. This is a ink and watercolour that is 21x21 cm

24. MagiCalendaRick - Ricky the Unicorn did an art prompt calendar for December. I started this as a Christmas tree with decorations and updated the picture as the prompts were disclosed (all but 15, that was not released), final prompt was Santa on Christmas Eve. It is a digital drawing using Procreate, and that made it possible to move things around.

25. Snow globe - based on a lovely reference from the LiquidPaintChallenge. It is an acrylic on canvas, 28x28 cm.

26. Bear - currently hibernating, might be a bear... I haven't done ball point pen art in a while, so it was time. On A5 paper.

29. Yule characters - is something that I started at the beginning of the month, but finished after Christmas. These are five Yule charactes from all over the world, I'll explain each of them in the close-ups below.

It is a digital drawing made using Procreate, it took me 6 hrs 40 minutes.

First we have the american Grinch, he is a Dr Seuss character created in 1957 and he is mostly known for his hatered (or envy of the joy) of Christmas and trying to steal it from the people of Whoville.

Then we have the European (alpine) Krampus, he visits children on the 5th December together with St Nicholas. Krampus punishes the bad children, beating them with sticks or steal them away in his basket.

After that we have the Icelandic Yule Cat (Jólakötturinn), this is a giant cat that roams the coutryside and eats people (or their food) who have been too lazy to finish making themselves new clothes before Christmas.

Then we have Mari Lwyd, that is a south Welsh Christmas tradition where a decorated horse skull was placed on a tall pole with a sheet and ribbons attached and then carried around by a group of men singing and performing with the purpose of being given food and drinks.

Finally the Italian La Befana who seams to be the nicest of them all, she is an old witch-like woman who delivers gifts to the nice children (coal to the naughty) on the night of the 5th January. She flies on a broom and enters the houses through the chimney, so she is covered in sot and ash.

And these are most of the art I created during 2025:
