Thirteen years ago I painted
this amazing tiger reference using water colour. When a similar
reference appeared again in a WDE, I decided to paint it in acrylics
this time and go big (for me). I flipped the reference as I wanted the tiger to look forward instead of back. Having painted a lot of impressionism lately, I tried to stay loose in the brush strokes and not using the exact colours. |
