Week 1 - Shark cat
- Is there any other option than to do this as a spin in Jaws?
Well not in my head. It is A5 on paper and I drew it using black ink and then coloured with copic markers. |
Week 2 - Penguin cat - Iris is doing her best to blend in with her humboldt penguin family, but she can not shake the feeling that she is different. It is A5 on paper and I drew it using black ink and then coloured with copic markers. |
Week 3 - Berry cat
- Cats aren't normally that much into berries, but I bet they
would sleep in a
Physalis
shell if they were big enough. It is A5 on paper and I drew it using black ink and then coloured with copic markers. |
Week 4 - Wizard cat - All cats are kind of wizards or at least wizard friendly. For this week I selected the most famous wizard (witch) cat; Professor McGonagall in her transfigured form of a grey housecat. It is A5 on paper and I drew it using black ink and then coloured with copic markers. |
Week 5 - Volcano cat - this was kind of hard to imagine, but once I started to base it on a black cat, the flow was really nice and I'm happy with the outcome. It is A5 on paper and I drew it using black ink and then coloured with copic markers. |
Week 6 - Music cat - another theme that was a struggle, but I finally had this idea of a cat in a guitar case. It is A5 on paper and I drew it using black ink and then coloured with copic markers. |
Week 7 - Love cat - to me cats are love, so there were so many options for this that it was hard to chose, finally I picked what Ronja does every morning when we serve her breakfast. It is A6 on paper and I drew it using black ink and then coloured with copic markers. |
Week 8 - Cheese cat - well cats don't usually eat cheese, but some of them like cheese doodles and would most certainly snooze on one. This drawing is barely an A6 on paper and I drew it using black ink and then coloured with copic markers. |
Week 9 - Angry cat - Cats can become really angry, usually towards other intruding cats, I have rarely seen my indoor cats do this face. This drawing is about the size of a post-it and I drew it using black ink and then coloured with mostly copic markers and copic opaque white. |
Week 10 - Cute cat - Ten years ago Ronja looked like this, she was just a few weeks old. This drawing is A5 on paper and I drew it using black and grey ink and then coloured with copic markers and copic opaque white. |
Week 11 - Cactus cat - this is just from my imagination. This drawing is A5 on paper and I drew it using grey ink and then coloured with copic markers and copic opaque white. |
Week 12 - Bomb cat - another one from my imagination, there will soon be a big reaction. This drawing is A6 on paper using black ink and copic markers |
Week 13 & 14 Laptop and chess cat- another one from my imagination, try playing chess with a cat in your lap. This drawing is A5 on paper using black ink and copic markers |
Week 15 Chicken cat - due to the fluff, the eyesight of the silkies is not that great and a naked sphinx cat could probably take advantage of that varm and cosy embrace of the hen. This drawing is A5 on paper using black ink and copic markers |
