Tulips in watercolor pencil

| During the
winter of 2009 I made several attempts to draw/paint a picture of a
bouquet of tulips that my husband recieved a year earlier. This one is
made in watercolor pencils.
I didn't wet them for color depth, instead I used several layers of color finishing up with white in order to blend the pigments. This drawing took a very long time... |
