I hosted this months animal & wildlife challenge using pictures that I
had taken at Copenhagen zoo in 2013. I participated myself using some more gelli prints. |

The finished paintings, on rice paper mounted on a 15x15 cm wood panel.
Using a laser printout in black & white (double printed), I transferred the print to a gelli plate and then the colours where added to the top.
The coloured print was then transferred to a background paper using a thin coat of varnish
This print is then ready to be glued to a wood panel.
Once the wood panel dried, I added some paint on top of the paper to improve of the print.
And this is what the toucan looked like before mounting and touch-up
