Mule deer

There were so many beautiful references this week, I picked the baby
mule deer and a fairly large canvas. Having seen a lot of colourful underpaintings, I coated the canvas in pink and yellow to get started. In total the painting took more than 7 hours to complete. The background was created using palette knives. |
